Seems like an ok unit suctionwise--I just got it--but make sure you notice before you order: All the stuff you need to actually sweep anything up is SOLD SEPARATELY. 65 more bucks and another wait or else a trip to the local dealership. Looks like I will clean the floor of my shop this weekend just by shuffling the hose around on it. Also, I will need to jury-rig or buy yet more accessories to get it able to vacuum sawdust from my non Porter-Cable miter saw. The port and hose sizes are way different. Would it have hurt P-C to include a few cheap plastic adapters so that people with other tool brands could use the thing with 'em?

Customer Buzz

This is a well designed and built vac. The shape is great for manuverability and storage. The filtration is finaminal, it is extremely quiet, and the tool powered switch works great and is a handy feature for sanding operations. I think the suction is slightly less than other brands but that is something I am willing to sacrifice for filtration and quietness of operation, I can actually have a conversation while it is on!

Customer Buzz

Avoid this vacum! You would think that anything with the PorterCable brand on it would be top shelf but this vac is living proof that name brand is indeed what your are paying for and NOT quality. On mine, the auto trigger died after about 2 months of light use(vac mostly sat in a corner) Amazon told me to go to the manufacturer to honor the year warranty. What a nightmare ! After going through PC's maze of customer service I finally got hold of a tech who told me that I would have to box and ship this heavy vac out to the service center. It cost me $30 to ship to them and month plus for them to "fix" When I finally got it back -guess what- it crapped out again not 3 days later!!

So,after more hassles with the inattentive techs I was told to ship it back out at my own expense(AGAIN!)and they would replace some more parts! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this tool . I've since picked up a Fein wet/dry and couldn't be happier

Customer Buzz

I have had this Porter vacuum for a couple of years now. No troubles to report. Previously I owned a Shop-Vac. The Shop-Vac was about the same size but with a stainless-steel container. Stainless-steel is very-good but all plastic is even better for my dock-side work. Overall the Porter is a more sophisticated, made in Italy, design. I would have purchased another of the Shop-Vacs since it provided many years of good service. However, I bought the Porter because of the power-outlet feature that I need for my sander. The Shop-Vac was somewhat more powerful. The Shop-Vac was completely stable when rolling around on its wheels. The Porter has a tendency to tip on even the slightest of irregular surfaces. The wheel's track is too narrow. The Porter is blessedly free of exhaust-dust. There are aftermarket filters available from Gore that help the Shop-Vac blow less-dust than its factory-filter, but still the Porter can't be beat in this department. The Porter is quieter than the Shop-Vac, but as I said a bit less powerful as well. The Porter does have an extra-long heavy-duty cord. Would I buy another Porter? Perhaps, but I would also consider another Shop-Vac with an aftermarket, external, automatic-power-outlet unit available elsewhere on Amazon. All of my old Shop-Vac accessories work fine with the Porter.

Customer Buzz

I bought this PC 7814 15 gallon vacuum and I love it. the tool-triggered fiture is the best keep up the good work PC. But I found this this new dust collector that you connect between your vacuum and tool. It use's water as a filter, has a drain on it, can be mounted on the wall or a cart. Found it on I think bagkeeper.com

Porter-cable fc350a clipped head 2-inch to 3-1/2-inch framing nailer

Best Price Porter Cable FC350A. Free Shipping. Buy Now!.

Customer Buzz
I had a little trouble learning the maze of different types of nails. It would have helped if some nails were sent with the nailer. I ordered some from the internet because I could not find hot dipped galvanized in 2" at any local supplier. The nailer worked perfect putting up a new cedar fence.

Customer Buzz
Great nailer. Saves a tremendous amount of time. I went through several boxes of nails without problems but one did arise. I would shoot in a nail and something would stick (maybe a valve)and the gun would just blow air. I ended up taking it apart and couldn't fine anything wrong. Then it just started working again. This happened several times over several days. I found out that this problem happens when I leave it laying in the sun. Once it's cooled off the problem goes away. Not sure why. Maybe the metal expands and doesn't get a good seal somewhere inside. Overall a great tool. I can find the right nails at Home Depot or Lowes. Good power too.

Customer Buzz
Great price on a reconditioned (like new) PC nailer. No problems with gun. Came with case, oil, and manual. We used almost a case of nails on this gun without any problems.

Customer Buzz
I picked up this nailer in a nailer/compressor combo kit about a year ago to help my folks build a privacy fence. Since then, I've used it for several projects around my house including another privacy fence. After about 7,000 nails, it continues to perform flawlessly. Not one single jam to date. This is one of those tools that does exactly what you expect it to (and more) every single time you pick it up, without fail, period, end of story. You really can't go wrong with this tool.

Customer Buzz
This is the first nail I have purchased. Due to my lack of time, my wife convinced me to get a nail gun to save time on my projects. I looked at several guns and decided that a cheap tool is no tool at all. This is the minimum I would spend for quality. So far, I love the performance and the ease of use. The only thing I would change (has nothing to do with the gun) is I would not have gotten the clipped head gun. I would have gone for the round head.

Customer Buzz
I have just recently purchased this framing nailer and have been very pleased with it. It is built tough and is very easy to use. I was worried about it being heavy but that isn't the case.

Customer Buzz
I bought one of these guns back in the beginning of 2004. I have 4 now. It's very well balanced. It drives 3 1/4 nails in lam beams with ease. As long as the preasure is right on the compressor. I like the switch on the trigger for the sequential or bump fire. And then the depth knob on the nose is handy too. I sold off my two Dewalts, two Sencos, and Craftsman framers because I never used them after I got this one. It loads like a Senco from the bottom of slide. Makes for a quick reload. Mine all have cases too which is nice. The only framer I have beside these guns is my Paslode. This gun is the right size with short magazine gets into tight spots. I have only had one problem with one them the drive broke but it was under warranty. If you want a gun that will please and take a beating at good price get this one.

Customer Buzz
I'm a computer nerd with an air compressor & pnumatic power tools. The only thing more dangerous is a father with a camcorder. I know this because I have all the above. I bought this clipped head nailer to finish off the basement, to build an office for myself to give the family more room upstairs. This thing works GREAT! This is so awesome. I put up a new wall in NO TIME, then I started looking for more projects. Standard building code puts studs 16" apart, such restraints are unnecessary when you wield such power as this. Be careful as you may find yourself nailing studs perpindicular just to keep the adrenaline flowing, or worse, tearing out old sheetrock walls to see if they "have enough support". You'll start looking for projects once you have this. I bought this because it was cheaper to buy a $100 air compressor and this $200 gun than pay someone $500 in labor to put a wall up for me [Insert Tim the tool-time Taylor grunt here]. My wife fears that we're going to be living in the next Winchester Mansion and has forbidden me from buying any more nails. No worries though, I'm not even half way through the first box of 2,500. Muhahahahaha!

Customer Buzz
I have had this nailer for about three months. Used it on everything from decks, fences, and rough framing. Love the ease of switching from sequential to bump firing with the new trigger. The ease of loading is only offset by the fact that it does not hold three sticks of nails. Granted I've been using Paslode brand nails. It just seems like a waste of space when only two sticks fit and you have 2 inches left in the magazine. With all that said it is well worth the money and you can't beat Porter-Cable for quailty. Only upgrade would be for a swivel air fitting(still haven't found one) to keep the hose from wrapping around everything.

Customer Buzz
I'm not sure why someone experienced problems with the 33 degree nails from grip-rite at Home Depot. I bought the FC350A nailer from Amazon and bought a box of 3 1/4 inch x .131 hot dipped galvanized nails from Home Depot. The nailer and the nails work great for me! I really love the size of this nailer. Very nice improvement over the older version. The price from Amazon is also very competitive. I am extremely pleased!!!!
Update - After running several hundred Nails through this nailer, I stand by my earlier conclusions. I have not had any problems with the Grip-Rite nails from Home Depot. I plan to try the Paslode 30 degree nails in this nailer. Great Nailer!!!
I built many projects with this nailer including a pool fence, framed decks, framed buildings and framed my basement. I stand by my earier comments. This nailer is superb and the Home Depot nails work fine!

Porter-cable da250b 1-inch to 2-1/2-inch 15-gauge angled finish nailer

Best Price Porter Cable DA250B. Free Shipping. Buy Now!.

Customer Buzz
I have used this finish nailer for two years now. I have never had a double fire and it has never jamed up. It has a strong design and shows little wear even though I have used it on lots of finish carpentry. I however wish it had the bounce fire option. When nailing on long sticks of paint grade base it would be nice to be able to bounce along. Overall the gun has good results but I am a hitachi convert.

Customer Buzz
I have gone almost exclusively to Porter-Cable tools. I believe they are the best choice for contractors and heavy duty home use. The 15 gauge finish nailer performs better than any previous finish nailer that I have used. I would highly recommend Porter-Cable to any serious wood worker, or contractor.

Customer Buzz
Had this for a few years now. Great balance, even when in awkward positions. Depth settings work good. Haven't had a jamb up yet. Great product at a great price. Would deffitnetly recomend this product. Thanks AMAZON!

Customer Buzz
Great tool for most people, I don't think this is one you would want on the jobsite though (it might not stand up over time). Easy to use and is comfortable to use.

Customer Buzz
I am remodeling my second house and this finish nailer is still going strong. I use it for all my base and crown moldings as well as window and door molding. Has a good set not requiring you to go back and sink the nails more.

Customer Buzz
Bought this to finish up the trim on the tool shed and I was disappointed to see how fussy and flimsy it is. Before I could use more than a few sticks of nails (it comes with a box of 1000 nails), it stopped driving nails. After looking at it for a while, my tool expert friend figured out that the two shaft rails that hold the contact head were slightly bent. No idea how it got bent. Normal use. So he carefully straightened the rails and got it working again.

Then, about 2 or 3 sticks of nails later, it jammed on the last nail of one stick, with another stick right behind. No problemo, it says in the manual, just flip up the easily accessed jam remover cover (oops, why do I need this?), but the nail turned out to be jammed so hard it could not be removed without disassemling the head. After a little more precious time down the drain, set this unit down and off to HD to buy some other brand.

(This is all too bad, because my other nailgun is the Porter-Cable coil framing gun. It is a fabulous, reliable, heavy duty tool. Not a relative of the DA250, I guess.)

In the end, I got a Bostich D51275K 15 gauge nailer, which has already outlasted the Porter-Cable. Visibly sturdier and it has a few nicer features, as well.

Customer Buzz
I can't think of a single thing that I would change about this gun. It loads easily, it is well balanced and not too heavy, the drive depth is easy to adjust, and it has never jammed even though I drive mostly 2-2.5 inch nails. I also have a 2 inch brad nailer and that may be sufficient for most people who are only going to nail molding. But for applications that require a 2.5 inch long nail or more structural support, this nail gun is perfect. I bought mine reconditioned for about a 20 percent savings and it has worked flawlessly and looked brand new.

Customer Buzz
12/9/04 My company owns 3 of these and they really do have a strong shot. We had no problems with getting the nails to set in the toughest materials. Our problems came after 8 mos of use. One of the units began having frequent jams and then started misfiring on a consistent basis. I'm a little concerned because another one of our DA250B nailers has also become somewhat unpredictable and sometimes jams. I definitely recommend the DA250B over the Senco SFN 35 or any Bostich nailers. The Senco SFN 30 and 40 are OK units. My top pick however is the Dewalt Angled Finish Nailer D51275K. All of our crews like this nailer over any of the finish nailers we've used. (Bostich, Porter Cable DA250B, Senco SFN 35, 40, 30). I will say that for the infrequent user either The Porter Cable DA250B or Dewalt D51275K will perform nicely.
Note: We use these finish nailers primarily in oak but sometimes in wood species such as Brazilian Cherry, Mahogany, Rosewood, Maple and other exotic wood types.

Update 07/07/05: I have had each of the 3 Porter Cable DA250B in the shop for repair 1-3 times each within the 1st year. I think it's time to switch entirely to Dewalt. Porter Cable shouldn't mind now since it's owned by the same company now. Also I should add that the Dewalt finish nailer we have is still working flawlessly with the original driver and it gets more use than the Porter Cables.

Customer Buzz
Excellent tool. Saved me a lot of time putting up trim work. Lightweight so you can use it all day and wonder where the time went.

Customer Buzz
I was building a cabinet the other day and using this nailer, and man, I tell you, you could feel and hear the power of this puppy throughout the shop. It fired rounds of 2" nails in solid oak and with every shot, there was a consistent message being sent out to the wood, "don't mess with me"! <br>When working with solid hardwood material, and finish nails, the last thing that you want is your nails to be proud of the surface where you have to go back and set them all manually, or the nailer leaving an ugly mar on the surface. None of that with this baby;) It sets the nails and does it exactly where you want them. Very nice tool!

Kitchenaid pro line burr coffee grinder - onyx black

Buy kitchenaid Pro Line Burr for sale & Best Price!!!

Product Description

The kitchenaid Pro Line Burr Coffee Grinder grinds whole coffee beans for the best tasting cup you ve ever brewed! Whether you re grinding for espresso, drip coffee, French Press or something in-between, 15 different grind settings give you plenty of options. The commercial-quality burrs actually flake coffee instead of crushing it, so you don t lose any of the essential oils that give coffee its full flavor. Turning at just 450 RPMs, this burr grinder also ensures those oils will not burn off due to frictional heat. Special gears control the delivery of beans to the burrs for a better grind consistency, and a plastic seal helps position the coffee bin under the grinding spout to prevent grounds from escaping. Now for the real plus: the Kitchen Aid Pro Line Coffee Grinder has a bean hopper and coffee bin made of GLASS rather than plastic to eliminate static cling. Glass means less cleanup, plus fluffy-looking grounds that won t cling to each other or the grinder. And since the hardy all-metal construction means this baby is built to last, this may be the last grinder you ll ever buy. Customer Buzz
After going through a number of cheaper burr grinders (Capresso, CuisinartBreville BCG450XL Conical Burr Grinder, Breville) which failed mechanically after limited use, we ordered the KitchenAid Pro Line Burr Grinder. This is a commercial grade grinder with fantastic ergonomics, materials, fit and finish and does an amazing job. Yes it has a bigger foot print and weight but it is in all respects a superior appliance. Stop wasting your money on those cheaper models. (Did I mention it also always reminds me of Tom Servo on MST3K?)

Customer Buzz
The range of adjustment makes this terrific. I am amazed at how much the flavor of coffee changes as the size of the grind changes. Now I can set the grind size to match whatever brand of coffee beans I buy (5 for Starbucks, 6 for Whole Foods).
